Girl Scouts are a group of great people. We help the world and we help other people.
Some people think that all we do is sell cookies, but we are much more than that! We go to Adventureland and we also sleep in the mall as a fun adventure. We pick up the trash outside. This always gives us a good feeling inside. We also do fundraisers for those who are in need, and we often visit and help the elderly in our neighborhood.
Last year we sold more than 100 boxes of nuts and so many boxes of cookies. We are Troop 1604 but there are so many more troops. You can start with the Scouts in kindergarten. The Girl Scouts are super-useful because we help the environment. Last year we planted trees in the park, and that’s important because we get fresher air from trees.
Girl Scouts take part in many events such as the Cow Harbor Day Parade and the Cowgirl Dance. When you are in the Brownies you get to walk the bridge and you stand in the flower circle and play with your troop. Girl Scouts are more than just cookies!
