Google Cardboard is cheap, fun virtual reality experience

Google Cardboard is a fun, new virtual reality (VR) platform. Google Cardboard is an app that can be downloaded and used with several different cardboard foldout mounts, which is actually just a piece of cardboard with a glass lens. Google Cardboard is a less expensive version of virtual reality devices like Oculus Rift. Once the app is downloaded, you place your smartphone inside the cardboard platform and enjoy the VR experience.

There is an app where you get to walk around with virtual dinosaurs. You can also go through virtual videos and listen to people talk to you. This an extremely exciting piece of technology to go with your phone and it isn’t a lot of money. Most mounts cost between $10 and $15. I enjoyed using Google Cardboard and I think you will, too. These apps are available on Google Play and may not work on all phones.
