Do you like sports memorabilia? Do you really enjoy playing hockey or watching it on TV? Are you interested in learning about the history of the game? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should definitely take a trip to Toronto, Canada, and visit the Hockey Hall of Fame.
My family and I recently took a trip to Canada and stopped by the Hockey Hall of Fame, which is in downtown Toronto. It was great. They had tons of actual jerseys, skates, helmets, etc., that were worn by hockey legends. It was really interesting to read about all of the players throughout hockey history who made a difference in the game.
Not only do you see the memorabilia, but you get to see the real Stanley Cup! I was able to stand next to it, take pictures and see all of the names from teams who had won throughout the years. Just as you start to leave, they have another area set up where you try to shoot the puck at a goalie on a big screen.
My favorite game, though, was one where you were the goalie. It was a huge video screen of actual players and the pucks flew at you and you had to defend the goal.
I would highly recommend taking a trip there and experiencing it for yourself. It is a lot of fun, and even if you aren't a huge hockey fan, you will still have a good time! Go online and check it out: hhof.com
