How I got my second cat, Cookie

My story on how I got my second cat is crazy. I was leaving gymnastics when my dad yelled, “Amanda! Come over here!”

I went over to where my dad was. He pointed to a tire on a truck. I thought, “What is he pointing at?” But then I saw her, my second cat, Cookie, staring right at me. Then out of nowhere, she jumped off the tire and started to rub against my leg. My dad told me that when he was waiting for me to get out of gymnastics, he saw her on the tire. He tried to pet her, but she got scared and backed up. But with me, she jumped off the tire and started to rub against my leg. After that I started begging to see if I could keep the kitten. My gymnastics coaches were about to go home when they saw the cat. They also saw me begging for the cat so they helped me. They started saying “It’s going to die in this cold weather!” and we kept on begging until my dad finally gave in. I was so happy. On the car ride home (with the cat, YAY!) I said to myself I am officially cat crazy. But I’m OK with that.
