How the Constitution inspired our classroom

In our class we have a classroom constitution. This is a pledge for our classroom. It states we all have to work together to become better students. It starts by saying “We the students of Class 4B . . . ” just like the U.S. Constitution. We made this for motivation to always do our best.

We also illustrated parts of the Constitution’s preamble in our class. We did it to learn more about why the Constitution was written. We did this after we read about the preamble in social studies. For example, one of the lines is “Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” For this, I drew two hands that were in a broken handcuff.

In conclusion, our class made a classroom constitution that motivates us to be better students. During the process, we learned more about our nation and cooperation.
