How to make money over the summer

It’s almost here! Our summer vacation. What are you doing? If you are like us, you probably want some spending money. Here are a few ways that have worked for us to make a little bit of money:

One way is to make crafts and sell them. For example, you can crochet scarves, hats and mittens or you can make hand-crafted gift baskets. Another method you can use to make money is providing a pet care in your neighborhood. Some things you can offer with this service is walking dogs, bathing dogs or training them. If you don’t like animals all that much, what about babysitting neighbor kids?

You can also hold a yard sale (with your parents permission!), where you can sell unwanted toys, clothes and jewelry and much more. Another way to make money is to get a couple friends and have a car wash. Put up signs around your neighborhood. Also you can have a bake sale. You can sell homemade baked goods, such as cookies, brownies, cupcakes and cake pops with homemade lemonade or any sort of beverage.
