My brother and I go to a music school, iSchool of Music and Art. It is located in 14 Cold Spring Rd., in Syosset. My brother and I learn to play the piano there. You can also learn to play lots of other instruments such as drums, saxophone, trumpet, cello and more. You can take private lessons or you can learn with other kids. The book I learn from is called “Piano Adventures.” I also practice exercises from a book called “Practical Methods for Beginners.” I know it says beginners on the cover but the ending of the book is a lot harder to play than the beginning. You can also bring a piece of music you want to learn. You can bring in classical music or jazz. I like classical music and I love to play the works by Beethoven. I have been going there for about three years and their special concerts are twice a year. There is also an art program.

You can try out to play at Carnegie Hall in Manhattan. There are three judges. You need to play a song for the judges. Your result will come out later whether you can play at Carnegie. Carnegie Hall is a famous performance venue. The judges also pick a piece of music for you to play. You can also play in a recital. You play songs your teacher picks out.

You should really have lessons there. iSchool is a wonderful place!
