I love to ice skate. I want to do it every day, but I also want to do other fun activities, so I ice skate in the mornings. I ice skate six mornings a week but on Sundays I go a little later. My mom wakes up at 4:45 a.m., gets herself ready, then wakes me up at 5 a.m. I’m usually really tired when I wake up, so I change into my skating clothes under my covers.

When my grandma and grandpa come to visit us, since my grandpa wakes up early, he helps me and my mom get ready. My mom loves that because he always makes coffee ahead of time so when my mom comes into the kitchen it’s already made for her.

Sometimes my grandma will come watch me ice skate. My coaches are Shannon and Serguei. Shannon is my main coach and also my choreography coach. Shannon teaches me things like spins and moves. Serguei is my jump coach. He has a harness that he puts me in and attaches it to a pole. He lifts the pole when I jump which makes my jumps higher and faster.
