What would your school do with a million dollars?

Kids don’t always act responsibly with money, so we decided to find out how students in the fifth grade would handle a huge amount of money.

We asked the kids what they would do if our school was given $1 million. We wanted to know how our schoolmates would spend the money on our school. We received a lot of different responses, so we narrowed the results down to the top four answers.

The fourth most popular was getting an Olympic-sized swimming pool for the school. This received five votes.

The third most popular, with 12 votes, was the installation of central air conditioning in the school building.

Coming in second with 27 votes was electronics for the students to use in school, such as Xbox, PS4 and new laptop computers.

In first place was gourmet food in the cafeteria with more variety to choose from. We also wanted it to be set up differently with fancy chairs and games for us to relax. Since most of us spend a good portion of the day in the cafeteria, why not get a fancy chef to make the meals for us? This received 50 votes.
