Preparation and equipment for indoor soccer or futsal is different from outdoor soccer. Before joining a league and before starting indoor soccer you have to stock up on some items you may need. Unlike regular cleats with the studs on the outsole of them, indoor shoes have a rubber outsole and have a lighter weight. Indoor/futsal shoes can vary from $25-$70 for kids; it depends what style you get. There are also futsal balls. Futsal balls are a No. 4 size ball instead of No. 5 and have 30 percent less bounce. The ball is a little easier to control and pass.

Futsal is very important to play. It is important because you should continue training and practicing your skills all year round. Indoor soccer is faster and quicker touches and games, so by playing indoors, it allows you to see different versions of the game of soccer. You will stay in shape, so when the spring soccer season comes up you will still be a great runner and have good stamina.
