‘Jacky Ha-Ha’ fun with lots of pictures

I read the novel “Jacky Ha-Ha,” by James Patterson and Chris Grabenstein (Little, Brown). This book is about a 12-year-old girl, Jacky Hart, and her struggles living with six other sisters, a mom who is fighting at war all the way around the world, and a dad who’s barely ever home. But even more, she has a stutter that always pops up at the worst time. Jacky likes to tell jokes all the time and make her friends and classmates laugh and she is so happy that they are not laughing at her.

I liked this book because of all the pictures. They help you better visualize what’s happening in the story. It’s for kids, ages 9 to 12.
