Family Connect Night gives kids, parents a chance to bond

We have many programs in our school. Family Connect Night is one of my favorites. Our whole district does this program.

This program allows you to have no homework on the last Wednesday of each month. So already you kind of know why it is one of my favorites. Yes, there is a reason for this program. I love the reason for this program, too, but I mean, no homework!

The important part of this program is the reason for it. The reason is to connect with your family, which means at least hang out with your family.

What I personally like to do on Family Connect Night is to tell jokes and cook dinner with my family. Some nights it can get a little hard with 2-year-old and 12-year-old brothers.

Some people use Family Connect Night to play video games and other stuff like that. I actually think that is pretty sad. I may not be able to connect with my family every Family Connect Night, but I still think everyone, including me, should at least try. You could just watch a movie or just hang out with your family. That’s the point of Family Connect Night, and I think every school should do it.
