Are you going into middle school next month? You may have some worries; don’t worry, we’re here to help. Here are some solutions for your worries:
n It can be stressful remembering your schedule. If you are struggling with this, you can make your home screen on your phone a picture of your school schedule.
n If you are having trouble opening your locker, wrap a rubber band around the knob, and it will give friction and make it easier to open your locker and help you get to class in time.
n Sometimes we don’t have enough time between classes to switch out our binders. Instead of rushing through the crowded halls, you can have a “morning” and an “afternoon” binder, and this should save you time and get you right on time.
n Say goodbye to snack time. In middle school you don’t get a snack time. Just in case you get hungry and if you are allowed, keep a bin full of your favorite snacks in your locker or in your backpack to satisfy your hunger.
n Joining clubs and sports is a great way to get involved with school and make new friends. Some clubs to join are drama club, math club, football, volleyball, etc. A lot of teachers and students encourage you to try. It can’t hurt.
