My experiences playing lacrosse

I first started playing boys lacrosse in fall 2010. I am a lefty so I was different than most of the other kids. I play lacrosse year-round. I am a defender but sometimes I play attack.

I am a fast kid so every coach tells me to keep on going but sometimes I hesitate to go across the line. I hesitate because I am afraid to get hurt. Last time I went across the defensive line, I couldn’t move my arm. Luckily I didn’t break it.

Last year when I played attack, I snuck up on the goalie when he wasn’t looking and my partner passed the ball to me and I scored a goal.

I’m on a couple of different teams like East End Elite Long Island Lacrosse. You have to try out for it but I made it two years in a row. I am also on a Westhampton lacrosse team.

We go to many different places for games. We have traveled to Greenport, Bayport, Sayville, Pennsylvania and Connecticut just to name a few.

I think this is the best game for boys and girls because it is fast, action-packed and most of all, fun.
