Our school’s Olympics

The Middle School Olympics was an event run by Mr. Michael Bello and Ms. Emily Cavallaro at the Carle Place School. It was an event that had multiple games and activities that were very enjoyable for every student. From money basket to Wii bowling, the MS Olympics had something for everyone to enjoy.

But it wasn’t just about fun and games. We also used this great event as a fundraiser. Everyone who participated donated $10 and that money was donated to ALS research. All together we raised $700. There were four teams for each grade, the 7th grade and the 8th grade. In the 8th grade the color of the teams were red, blue, pink, and neon yellow. I was on neon yellow, and I was easily the best player in the entire Olympics. I might have been on the losing team, but I think that everyone in the competition could agree that I was the MVP. The winner for the 7th grade was the Navy Blue team, and the winner for the 8th grade was the Red team.
