Pairing pajamas with kids who need them

Our school is really great about doing things for others. For the past few school years, our school has participated in Pajama Day. This is a day when every student brings in a new pair of pajamas. It is a special program called Pajama Program.

Most of us probably don't think a lot about pajamas, but there are plenty of kids who do and who go to bed cold because they have no PJs. That's where we can help. We bring in new pajamas and watch a movie about the program and see how happy the kids are to get new pajamas. Last school year was a great year for us. It was one of our most successful years. We collected 315 pairs of pajamas.

After we delivered the pajamas, we received a letter. It stated, "Thank you so very much for the pajamas. Each child in our home got a new pair of pajamas with leftover ones for children yet to come. The children are thrilled. Thank you again!" We were so excited! We can't wait to do it again and we are determined to be even better than last year.
