We had the opportunity to travel to Manhattan to Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant in Midtown to meet Peta Murgatroyd, who is a professional dancer on “Dancing With the Stars.” When we showed up, she was waiting for us! Peta was the winner of the 2016 “DWTS” competition last season. She is from New Zealand and has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She sat down with us and answered all of our questions. We asked Peta if she keeps in touch with old dance partners. She said she does and that she loves to keep in touch.

Since so many people like to sing in the shower, we asked her if she dances in the shower. She said she sings in the shower. Peta also has a new line of skin care products called Peta Jane and it is part of the South Seas Skin Care line.

Peta is pregnant and due in January. We asked her if she wants her baby to be a dancer like his parents. She said they [she and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy] go back and forth but that right now she says no. She wants to return to “DWTS” after the baby is born because she loves it. We asked her if she had any hobbies. She told us she likes art. We asked her what her favorite pizza topping and ice cream is. She likes pepperoni pizza and chocolate ice cream. We asked her if she watches herself on “Dancing With the Stars,” and if she is critical of herself. She said she does and that she is very critical. She was so nice. She took pictures with us and gave us autographs.
