Playing the part of a famous person

Our class studied different genres in literature. We all loved reading biographies. Everyone chose to read about the life of someone famous that they knew little about. The best part of reading the biography was doing the project.

We all had to pretend to be the person we read about and give a live interview in the classroom. Instead of wearing a costume we used poster board.

I drew Amelia Earhart in a flight jacket and scarf. I cut out a hole for my face and my hands. It felt special to be a famous person even if it was only for just a few minutes in class.
