Sew Fun a treat for all

Sew Fun is a sewing place for people of all ages, from 5 years old to 95 years old. You can take a class, go to a workshop or participate in a private lesson. An amazing quality is that you can make whatever you want, ranging from a patchwork quilt to pants, or a pair of window curtains to even a dog bag.

No sewing experience is required because your instructor will show you how to hand sew, thread a sewing machine, and wind a bobbin. You will also learn all the parts of a sewing machine. At your first lesson you will pick out all of your fabrics for your project. You will also make a pin cushion during the first class. My most recent projects were a nine-patch patchwork bag and cozy flannel pants. The end results were amazing. My friends and family were all so impressed.

It is located at 225 Main St., Northport (sewfunnorthport.com). The best part is that you can answer "Yes, I made that," when your friends ask, "Did you make that?" If you go to Sew Fun I promise you will have a "sew fun" time.
