Gymnastics is a fun way to exercise. At my local gym, we teach kids of all ages about the basics of gymnastics. I work with 3- and 4-year-old boys and girls. I teach them how to stretch and do floor exercises. I also show them how to use the gymnastics equipment, like the balance beam, uneven bars and vault. We teach them on equipment that is similar to what the Olympic gymnasts use. They have fun while improving their balance, strength, flexibility and coordination. This will help them to do other activities and sports in the future. It is enjoyable to see the kids run to their parents with smiles on their faces because they had so much fun in my class.
