We had an interesting question for kids in our school: Would you rather be weird or unique or just plain average? We surveyed 100 kids, and here is what we found out:
Weird or unique: 70
As you can see, "weird or unique" was the big winner. Some of the kids said they wanted to stand out or have a special talent so they could get into a wonderful college. One of the kids we talked to said he wanted to be a famous superhero. The kids wanted to be special in their own ways. More power to you! Kids who wanted to be average said they wanted to fit in with others in the world around them. They liked the idea of not being too different . . . just being normal.
