The Poconos: A great place to visit for the whole family

My family went to the Poconos in Pennsylvania and we stayed at The Inn at Pocono Manor. Inside the Manor there was so much to do. There was a gym, an arcade, basketball and tennis courts, and indoor and outdoor pools and more.

At the arcade, I played a claw machine. I won a penguin stuffed animal. My dad and I played basketball, then my mom and I went to the outdoor pool, but then it started pouring so we went to the indoor pool. After that, we ate dinner at this place with the most amazing mac and cheese.

The next morning my dad and I went to get our nails done. I made him get his nails done and he did. The lady couldn’t cut his nails they were so thick. She had to get out this saw like thing, it was hilarious. After that, we all went horseback riding. My horse’s name was Gambler. My mom’s was named Apollo, my dad’s was named Zeus. The trail we took was covered in mud. My shoes even got covered in mud. My horse didn’t like Apollo so she kicked Apollo in the face for reasons I don’t know.

Once we returned to the barn we put them back and went back to the hotel. That was our last night, so we packed up, ate dinner then went to bed. When we woke up, we ate breakfast — we all had waffles — then we left and drove back home. It’s a great family getaway and it is not that far away! Check it out online: poconomanor.com
