Summer is here and so is the heat. How are you staying cool? Here are a few tips to help:
COOL DOWN YOUR BED SHEETS Remove your bed sheets from your bed, fold them up and put them in the refrigerator. Putting them in a plastic bag is recommended so they won’t get dirty or wet. After 30 minutes your sheets will be nice and cool for you to sleep on. Fun fact: You sleep better when you are cold.
CUCUMBER WATER Put cucumber in your water to hydrate and refresh yourself during the summer heat. Drop some thin slices in a water bottle and let it sit for an hour or so.
PUT SOMETHING COLD ON YOUR SKIN Placing something cold on your skin will cool you down. For example, by running your hands under cold water for a minute, you will feel much cooler. Better yet, jump in the pool or ocean.
PEPPERMINT TEA MIST Make the peppermint tea, using hot water and a peppermint tea bag. Then store it in the fridge until it’s cold. Next, put it in a spray bottle and spray yourself. You will feel a cooling sensation!
REFRIGERATE YOUR LOTIONS Just like putting your bed sheets in the fridge, this will keep all of your products cold and will make putting them on refreshing in the hot summer sun.
