October brings trunk-or-treat, with candy and games

Instead of going trick-or-treating, I go trunk-or-treating at my church. Trunk-or-treating is when people decorate their trunks and create games from it. One year it was Candyland and you would pick a card and move to that space. It was just like the game! Another year it was I Spy. You would find all the items hidden and then you would get candy.

The thing I love about it is that no matter what, you get candy. Our trunk-or-treating celebration is held at the Assembly of God Church in Medford. They have fun rides like the spinning carts and bungy jumping. We also talk about how God is like a superhero and people from the church dress up like superheroes. You can get a picture with them too. You can get snacks and participate in contests. It is so much fun.
