Do you honor veterans in everyday life or in school? Well if you don’t, we have some ideas for you.

Are you related to a veteran or know a veteran? If you do, then you can ask them some questions about being part of the U.S. Army, Air Force, etc. Doing so will let them know that you care. You can also say “Thank you for serving our country,” whenever you see them. You can try to learn more about veterans. You can go to their house to talk to them and learn facts. So whenever you see a veteran, make sure to say thank you.

Top five ways to honor a veteran

1. Write a thank you card.

2. Invite them into your classroom

3. Say thank you whenever you see them

4. Join a program that helps veterans

5. Start a donation drive
