Valentine’s Day. A day of love. But it is not for everyone! Especially us! Hey, we’re only 12. Sometimes you stay home and eat a bowl of ice cream and watch some sad vampire romance movie. Well, I know how to fix that! Here are five things you can do when you’re alone on Valentine’s Day.

BE A CUPID Just because you’re alone doesn’t mean you have to be miserable! Make a card or gift for someone you love (example: friend or family).

A MOVIE FOR TWO Do you know somebody else who is alone? If you do, you won’t have to be alone on Valentine’s Day anymore. Maybe you and that person can finish the sad vampire romance movie together!

TREAT YOURSELF Maybe you want to feel included when you see people holding hands on the sidewalk! Buy some kind of candy or flowers to cheer yourself up.

THROW A PARTY Invite some friends, cousins, parents, grandparents, older siblings, younger siblings, anyone, make crafts, play games to have a blast on Valentine’s Day.

BE A SECRET ADMIRER Send out a bunch of cards to people you know. But don’t write your name on it! Give them a Valentine’s Day to smile about!

Well, I hope you take my advice on these suggestions. Have a Happy Valentine’s Day!
