My dad works at Safeguard Alarms in Pennsylvania. I go with him sometimes. When I go with him, we leave at like 4 in the morning. We both get ready, and I bring blankets and pillows to relax in his work truck. When we get to Pennsylvania near were we go to work, we stop for breakfast. I usually get bacon, egg and cheese on a roll. My dad might get pancakes or French toast.
Next, we go to the house where the work needs to be done. After we finish one house, we go to another house. We had to put new batteries in the alarms.
After we are done, we head to a Cheesecake Factory. My dad gets cheesecake for himself, my brother and my mom. I don’t like cheesecake, so we go to a place where there are barrels of different kinds of candy. The past two times we have gone I got a toy car. In the same store, they have Christmas villages and candles.
Then we stop for lunch at McDonald’s. Then we drive to his job to get his car. I take a nap in the back seat. Then we head home. That’s what my dad and I do when I go to Pennsylvania with him.
