We recently viewed the Disney movie "Zapped," starring Zendaya and Spencer Boldman. Zendaya plays Zoey, a teenage girl whose mom just got remarried.

Zoey and her mom move in with their new family, which consists of three stepbrothers, her stepdad and a dog. Zoey has a hard time adjusting to her new life and all the males in the house. She feels lost in a house that is so out of control.

One day, Zoey finds an app to train and control dogs on her smart phone, but a crazy accident sends her phone flying out the window and into the satellite dish, where it gets zapped. When she gets it back, the phone has the ability to control all males, not just dogs.

At first, Zoey uses the app to have some fun with her schoolmates, including Jackson (Spencer), the boy she likes. But then it all goes downhill. "Zapped" is filled with funny fiascos and mayhem!

On a scale of 1 to 5, we give it a 4 ½.

After seeing the movie, we interviewed Zendaya at the ABC offices about the film:

What do you think was the best scene you did in "Zapped?"

The scene where I'm dancing with the nerds or the dorks and they were, actually it was very cool, they're actually professional dancers and they're really, really good and really cool. So they had to pretend that they weren't any good, and they had to pretend they couldn't dance, and they had to pretend they were dorks.

Would you want a smart phone that controls boys in real life?

After watching the movie, I think it's a bad idea. I would rather have something that can teleport me places so I don't have to deal with traffic. Or something that makes me food right away so I can have whatever I want, whenever I want. Or something that does my hair for me. That would be kind of cool. You have green hair one day, purple hair the next day and just keep switching it as many times as you want.

What was the grossest scene you shot?

I think it would definitely be the soy sauce smelling chocolate. That was probably the worst, but actually kind of fun, too. I like doing those fun scenes where you have to do gross stuff like having things being poured on you or falling into something.

Did you have as much fun shooting "Zapped" as "Shake It Up!"?

I did. We were on Vancouver Island, and we were on Cowichan Bay. I got to do really cool stuff. I got to do whale watching and kayaking, which I never do. I got to do it with Spencer and people in the cast.

"Zapped" airs tonight at 8 on the Disney Channel.
