Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronda Rousey and more athletes are set to participate in Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports Awards at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 17, from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson returns as host of the slimings and stunts. Notable nominees include New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski, whose new sports bloopers show, “Crashletes,” premiered on Nickelodeon on July 5; NBA Finals MVP and Champion LeBron James; and ballet star Misty Copeland, as well as Serena Williams, Cam Newton, Holly Holm, Tom Brady and more.
In addition to awarding athletes in categories such as Don’t Try This At Home Award and the King/Queen of Swag, the ceremony will recognize basketball legend and five-time NBA Champion Bryant with the Legend Award. Bryant will join previous winners David Beckham and Derek Jeter.
