Lesley Stahl, a “60 Minutes” correspondent for more than 25 years, will be coming to the Madison Theatre at Molloy College in Rockville Centre at 7 p.m. April 5 to talk about her book “Becoming Grandma: The Joys and Science of the New Grandparenting.”
The event is $20 and includes a copy of the paperback book. The hardcover version of the book was first published in 2016.
Stahl is grandmother to two young granddaughters who call her Lolly. The girls are the children of Stahl’s only child, daughter Taylor.
In a 2016 interview, Stahl told Newsday: “Everybody always told me being a grandmother is the best thing that can ever happen, but no one really explained the depth of feelings that go on inside you. So I decided to write the book to find out, Do all grandmothers have that, and if so, what is it?”
