Kids and families can participate in classes and activities and meet local businesses that cater to them at LI Parents Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17 in Brookville.
This year’s event features more than 50 exhibitors. The Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery & Aquarium will be bringing reptiles, The Coder School will offer introductions to computer programming, the YMCA of Long Island will sponsor a bounce house and more. There’ll be magicians and balloon artists. Special Needs Alley will offer parents information from expert providers.
The event is at Long Island University’s Pratt Recreational Center, 720 Northern Blvd., Brookville. Tickets are $10 per family (two adults and up to four children) and are available online at LIParentsDay.com or at the door.
