Calling all budding chefs! If your child loves to cook, Fox's "MasterChef Junior" is hosting auditions for its second season on Saturday in Manhattan.
This culinary competition features pint-size home cooks between the ages 8 and 13 who are aspiring chefs. The young contestants will showcase their culinary smarts through challenges and cook-offs, similar to the adult version of the show. Alexander Weiss, a 13-year-old from Manhattan, was crowned the winner of season one and walked away with a $100,000 grand prize.
Auditions will be held at the Sheraton Hotel (811 7th Avenue) from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
