Frankenstein, Freddy Krueger and the Phantom of the Opera seated at a grand piano are some of the more than 10 figures that will be part of a new, wax-museum style attraction that opens tonight at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho.

The "Monster Museum” joins the haunted house, pumpkin patch and other offerings as part of The Milleridge Halloween Village 2018. The darkened, one-room museum will include spooky music, a fog machine, laser lights, candelabras and live actors, says Milleridge manager Brendan Lynch.

“We just want to make it bigger and better every year,” Lynch says of why the Milleridge expanded the Halloween Village. The outdoor village area is free, but entering the Monster Museum will cost $6 per person and is cash only.

Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 1 to 11 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. The Milleridge is at 585 N. Broadway in Jericho. For more information, call 516-931-2201 or visit milleridgeinn.com.
