Author Nick Katsoris has teamed up with some A-list actors to create a new children's book that speaks out against bullying, and raises money for charity too.
The book, part of a series and called "Loukoumi and The Schoolyard Bully," tells the story of Loukoumi, who is about to become a big sister. When her friends discuss what to name the new baby, the school bully, Igor the alligator, pokes fun at Loukoumi's unusual Greek name.
By the story's end, Igor learns that bullying is not cool, and that it is never right to make fun of anyone -- an important lesson for kids.
The book includes a downloadable audio version of the tale voiced by stars such as Morgan Freeman, who takes on the role of Igor, and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" star Nia Vardalos, who serves as the narrator, and others.
Proceeds from "Loukoumi and The Schoolyard Bully" benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
