Every Sunday through the end of August, the Planting Fields Foundation is offering a family program called Nature Sundays for Children at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, 1395 Planting Fields Rd., Oyster Bay.
Each week has a different theme; all programs begin at noon, run rain or shine and are free, but there’s an $8 parking fee. Advance registration is required. “We do not take walk-ins, because we sell out,” says Antigone Zaharakis, education coordinator. To register, call 516-922-8668 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
