PlayStation is bringing what it’s calling “the ultimate gaming party” to Long Island from 1 to 7 p.m. Oct. 22 in the parking lot of the American Air Power Museum at Republic Airport, 1230 New Hwy., Farmingdale.

Attendees can experience hands-on unreleased games for PS4 and PlayStation VR, join contests for prizes and enter giveaways all day. The event is free, and food and drink will be provided.

PlayStation is coming to Long Island because Justin Casuccio, 26, of West Babylon, an electrician with the Long Island Rail Road, entered PlayStation’s annual “My Road to Greatness” contest.

In his video entry, Casuccio’s girlfriend, Alexa Todaro, 25, of Franklin Square, used body paint to make Casuccio look like the character Kratos from the God of War video game. “I love PlayStation. I’ve been playing PlayStation games since I was young,” says Casuccio, who definitely plans to attend the event.
