When Syosset mom, Thalia Stamatelos, became pregnant, she couldn't wait to register and find the "it" diaper bag.

"After my son was born I went through 12 diaper bags and I still hadn't found the bag I was hoping for," Stamatelos said. "All of the ones I bought ended up being too small, not functional or just plain unattractive."

She knew exactly what she needed and wanted in a diaper bag, so she decided to create her own.

The Due Date Diaper Bag is a large stylish yet functional bag. It comes with a labeled zip out liner with compartments for diapers, two bottles, juice boxes and an umbrella, which I love because it makes it easy to find all of your essentials.

Each diaper bag also includes three "drop-in" extra bags: a zippered pouch to hold extra clothing for two children, one for cosmetics and one for snacks — another great element to help stay organized.

The bottom of the bag doubles as a changing station, complete with changing pad as well as labeled pockets for diapers, wipes, diaper cream and toys.

I found this bag to be incredibly practical, not to mention fashionable and because it's pretty big, it's perfect for weekend getaways, as well.

The bag comes in red with black trim, black with black trim and black with pewter trim for $225 on
