October is National Bullying Prevention Month and athletes and celebrities are raising awareness by designing T-shirts.
CustomInk, an online custom-design T-shirt company has partnered with PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center to launch the "Be Good to Each Other" campaign with athletes such as Ray Rice and celebrities like Rebecca Black designing shirts with bullying prevention messages and wearing them during the month of October, encouraging kids to do the same.
All profits from the sales of the shirts will go to PACER's which unities, engages and educates communities nationwide to address bullying through their resources.
"Everyone is affected by bullying," said Ray Rice, NFL running back for the Baltimore Ravens. "It can damage, change or even end a life and there is no excuse for it – ever. I want to encourage kids to be leaders, not followers, and to reach out to someone who may need a friend. It’s so important to be kind to one another, and I will do my part to say that loud and often.”
Other celebrities are designing T-shirts to lend their support for the PACER Center cause, including Rebecca Black (teen pop star), Janel Parrish ("Pretty Little Liars"), Katie Leclerc ("Switched at Birth"), Kylie Morgan ("Opening Act"), David Boudia (U.S. Olympic diver and gold medalist), Micha Jesse (entertainment personality), and Nastia Liukin (U.S. Olympic gymnast).
