DK Publishing's "Star Wars Readers" are available as e-books for the first time ($2.99 from iBookstore, Color Nook and Kindle Fire). Harrison found "Star Wars: R2-D2 and Friends," a Level 2 title available for review, entertaining and said he learned a lot. There are five levels of the e-books, from titles for those learning to read to those who are proficient.
Out in October is another treat for fans -- "Star Wars: A Galactic Pop-Up Adventure" (Scholastic, $39.99). This all-ages book delves into everything you need to know about "The Clone Wars" and its three prequels. Best of all, the paper pop-ups include a lit lightsaber. Yes, a battery is included in this book.
