These are some scheduled 2011 open houses for Nassau County summer camps. Call to confirm dates and times.

BROOKVILLE

LuHi Summer Program, 131 Brookville Rd., 516-626-1100, luhi.com. Ages: pre-K to 12th grade. Fees: Starting at $950 for two weeks. Specialties: Full day; on-site swimming, sports, dance, art programs and more. Note: Door-to-door transportation included; lunch available ($60 for two weeks). Open houses: noon Feb. 13, March 20 and May 14.

CEDARHURST

Cedarhurst JCC of the Greater Five Towns, Camp location: 75 Colonial Springs, Rd., Wheatley Heights. 516-569-6733. Ages: Grades K-ninth grade. Fees: Call for rates. Specialties: Full day; on-site swimming, arts and crafts, sports, drama, archery, daily trips and extended trips out of state. Note: Door-to-door transportation; snacks available. Open houses: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 10, May 1 and June 5.

EAST ROCKAWAY

FARMINGDALE

Future Stars Day Camps. FREEPORT

Campgrounds include two heated pools, a pool slide, four playgrounds, a physical fitness center featuring a climbing wall, ball wall, a rope bridge, tennis, and basketball courts, a multipurpose rink, playing fields, and air-conditioned dance studio, indoor gymnasium, theater and crafts centers. New this year: Gemini Adventure, grades 4-6, two days of travel to local attractions such as Adventureland, Mets games, Broadway shows; Gemini Travel for grades 5-9, two overnight trips. GARDEN CITY

Destination Science Camp, Locations: Garden City, Locust Valley, Old Westbury, Plainview and Wantagh, 888-909-2822, destinationscience.org. Ages: K- 6 grade. Fees: $359 weekly, $718 two weeks, $1077 three weeks, $1436 four weeks. Specialty: The camp builds a love of science starting at an early age. New programs as The Amazing Space Race, Wild Extreme Physics Fun and Techno Robot Creators (where kids can learn about robot science while creating their own mega-bots). Note: Older children, grades 7-11, can participate as camp leaders.

GLEN COVE
