Kids can celebrate the superhero in us all during the National Superhero Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the Whaling Museum and Education Center, 279 Main St., Cold Spring Harbor.
Kids can come dressed as their favorite superhero and enjoy superhero meet and greets, meet real-life heros from local police and fire departments, design a “Save the Whales” poster and more.
“Everyone has a way to step up and make the world a better place,” says Nomi Dayan, the museum's executive director. “You can be a hero for the ocean, for your community, for your family.”
The fee of $10 per child and $6 per adult includes museum entry. Face-painting is an additional $4 per child. For more information, call 631-367-3418 or visit cshwhalingmuseum.org.
