Have fun celebrating Valentine's Day with your children at these family-friendly events on Long Island.

UpSculpted Valentines at Parrish Art Museum (279 Montauk Hwy., Water Mill). Families can build their own heart-shaped Valentine sculpture using repurposed marine debris and rope on Feb. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. Pre-registration is required by calling 631-283-2118, ext. 130 or by visiting Price: Free with museum admission ($12).

Valentine's Paint Event at Key to My Art (10 W. Oak St., Amityville). On Feb. 11 from 3 to 4:40 p.m., families can learn to paint love birds. Parents can paint along with their kids or drop them off. Be Mine Ball at the Long Island Children's Museum (11 Davis Ave., Garden City). On Feb. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m., celebrate Valentine's Day at a new family event. There will be a DJ and dancing, face painting, sweet treats and crafts, including rose top hats, charm bracelets, heart wands and a "Some Bunny Loves You" puppet.
