Looking for things to do with the kids this weekend? From classic family performances to barnyard games, magic shows and more, there's so much to do on Long Island. Here are my top five picks for fun, family-friendly activities this weekend:

1. Hear It! See It! Draw It! at the Nassau County Museum of Art (1 Museum Dr., Roslyn Harbor). At 10 a.m. on Friday, children ages 3-5 and their families can listen to Eastern European folk readings, check out Marc Chagall's art and create drawings inspired by the day. Free with museum admission ($10, $8, $4).

2. Dora the Explorer: Pirate Adventure at Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts (2 E. Main St., Smithtown). Watch Dora and her best friend, Boots, as they embark on a trip to Treasure Island at 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. The interactive shows encourage audience participation to help Dora reach the treasure. Price: $15.

3. Children's Summer Performance: Chip Bryant at Wildwood State Park (Hulse Landing Rd., Wading River). This free show at 7 p.m. on Sunday features Chip Bryant, the Silent Vaudeville Clown.

4. Country Family Fun Days at Harbes Family Farm and Vineyard (715 Sound Ave., Mattituck) On Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., families can have fun on the farm with pony rides, hayrides, barnyard games, country food and more. The event is free but individual activity fees may apply.

5. Family Fun Day at the Long Island Museum of American Art, History & Carriages (1200 Rte. 25A, Stony Brook). On Sunday at noon, families can enjoy free children's music, 1950s themed games and a magic show.
