Looking for things to do with the kids this weekend? From the Easter egg hunts and dinosaurs to "Peter Rabbit" and more, there's plenty of activities happening on Long Island. Here are my top five picks for family-friendly activities this weekend:

Easter Egg Hunt at Benner's Farm (56 Gnarled Hollow Rd., Setauket). Bring your own basket and a camera to capture your children as they discover treat-filled eggs around the farm on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Price: Free with farm admission ($6, $5 children ages 14 and younger).

Dinosaur Day at Garvies Point Museum and Preserve (50 Barry Dr., Glen Cove). On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., kids can learn about dinosaurs, see and touch real fossils, try out the fossil “dig" and more. Price: $5.

Earth Day Celebration at Long Island Science Center (11 W. Main St., Riverhead). Learn about "going green," conservation and preserving planets on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Price: $5.

"The Adventures of Peter Rabbit" at Coe Hall at Planting Fields Arboretum (1395 Planting Fields Rd., Oyster Bay). This classic tale will be presented by Theatre Three of Port Jefferson on Saturday at 3 p.m. Price: Free with $4 admission fee to Coe Hall; $8 parking fee.

The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig at CM Performing Arts Center (931 Montauk Hwy., Oakdale). A musical, based on the book by Eugene Trivizas, offering a twist on a classic tale on Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Price: $12.
