It's All in the Angles at the Maritime Explorium (101 East Broadway, Port Jefferson) On Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., learn how to design a rooftop that's strong enough to withstand a snowstorm. Price: $5.
Second Saturdays: Mask It at Hofstra University Museum David Filderman Gallery (Hempstead Turnpike, Hempstead) Explore the works of art and discover the power of masks as used in Asian Pacific cultures, then create your own mask on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Price: Free for adults, $5 children; registration is required.
