Crow's Nest Mini Golf
Ahoy, Mateys! Crow's Nest Mini Golf (S. Ocean Ave., Freeport), located on the Nautical Mile, is an 18-hole golf course featuring life-sized pirates, a cave with a waterfall and a host of other pirate-themed holes sure to please children of all ages. From the end of June to Labor Day, the Jones Beach Miniature Golf (Ocean Parkway Field 4, Wantagh) course is open daily 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.; May 23-June 26, 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; June 27-Sept. 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and weekends Sept. 8-Oct. 5. Check out the new, 18-mini-golf course at Wantagh Park (1 King Rd., Wantagh), which features a boat and a lighthouse. The nautical-themed course will be open Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. The price for a resident with a leisure pass is $8, $11 for a non-resident and $5 for children, seniors, ambulance workers, firefighters, veterans and police with leisure pass. At the park, you'll also find multiple pools, including an interactive splash park, a playground, tennis and basketball courts, softball fields, a boat slip, fishing piers and much more.
