The wow factor was off the charts at the 56th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night when Beyoncé opened the show with a steamy performance of her hit “Drunk in Love” looking ultra-sexy in a bodysuit topped by a handmade cage of satin-covered rods from the La Perla Cage collection. Her only prop was a chair -- (what else do you need when you’ve got her equipment?) -- though later in the song her husband, Jay Z, served as a backdrop.
Queen B’s chair dance was arguably the most sizzling moment of the night. For folks who would like to do a rendition at home (or wherever) with the cage vest -- which was inspired by the iconic "cage bustier" first released by the brand in 2007 (Victoria Beckham wore it in a Spice Girls reunion video) -- it is available for $325 at the La Perla Boutique on Madison Avenue in Manhattan.
Talk about naughty and nice. And, after all, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. For more information call 212-570-0050.
