The biggest women's swimwear chain in the US -- Everything But Water -- has teamed up with designer Carmen Marc Valvo to produce a special limited edition T-shirt to raise awareness of lung cancer, which kills more women in the US than breast, cervical and ovarian cancers combined. Sale of the t-shirts will benefit the LUNGevity Foundation.
The shirts will be on sale during the month of November -- which is lung cancer awareness month -- at all 57 of the Everything But Water stores nationwide and also through the store's website: www.everythingbutwater.com. The shirts cost $36.
"We are thrilled that Everything But Water is partnering with us again this year in the fight against lung cancer," said Jerry Sorkin, vice-chair of LUNGevity's board of directors. "The Carmen Marc Valvo designed t-shirt they are selling thoughtfully depicts the message of hope that we offer for lung cancer patients and their families."
