The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection runway show kicks off New York Fashion Week each year to benefit women's heart health -- but when stunners like Rebecca Romijn, Gloria Estefan and Christie Brinkley hit the runway Wednesday night, it was the men's hearts that were in trouble.

"Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger slimmed down to a size two to fit into her sleek, Asian-inspired Marc Bouwer gown.

"It's very sexy and over the top," she said of the show-stopping number. "It's something I normally would never do, but I'm breaking the barriers. I wear red a lot, but this dress is very different. I'm probably going to wear it again."

As for single ladies this Valentine's Day, Stanger advises getting out of the house and mingling in an eye-catching outfit.

"Any bright colors will do," she said. "Red is a very popular color and men will notice you."

Actress Minka Kelly knows about standing out in a crowd, and she did so in a sparkling long sleeve Diane von Furstenberg gown. She and on-again boyfriend Derek Jeter will keep it low-key this Valentine's Day. "We're just going to stay in and cook," she said.

Men aside, all of the women in the spotlight had a ball getting glam for a good cause. Brinkley hammed it up on the catwalk to ex-husband Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl," while Estefan showed off a new 'do. "I had to compete with the 6-foot-tall models somehow," she said of her brunette locks, piled high into a beehive. "I feel like an ice cream cone."
