Marlene Dietrich in Shaghai Express -- that classy globe-trotting woman -- she was inspiration for Elie Tahari’s smart collection that included a sophisticated blend of luxe textures -- leather, suede, silk and fur. Oh how we lusted for that shearling vest on this snowy day, (not to mention the cool ruffle brimmed chapeau). And suddenly 1970’s silhouettes -- a double-breasted camel suit -- seemed chic. Also terrific…menswear.
